Bin Zhang is a distinguished young expert with the Taishan Mount Scholars, China, and a Principal Investigator at the Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical University, where he established the tumor ...metabolism research group in 2018. His research focuses on four key areas: the regulatory mechanisms of tumor stem cells, the specificity of tumor biomacromolecules and energy metabolism, the influence of oncogenic gene mutations on energy metabolism, and drug screening targeting tumor metabolism. His publications in Cell Reports Medicine, Biomaterials, Oncogene, Journal of Experimental & Clinical Cancer Research, and Stem Cells have received over 5,000 citations, earning him an H-index of 34. Bin Zhang holds ten patents (two transferred) and is currently leading six funded projects, including two from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He actively reviews for journals such as Stem Cells and Development, EBioMedicine, Stem Cell Research & Therapy, Molecular Carcinogenesis, and the Journal of Clinical Laboratory Medicine.
