Prof. Patrick Van Dijck is a distinguished Professor at the Laboratory of Molecular Cell Biology, Institute of Botany and Microbiology, KU Leuven, Belgium, where he is internationally recognized for his pioneering research in infectious diseases and host genetics. Prof. Lin Qiu, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor, Deputy Chief Physician, and Master’s Supervisor in the Department of Nuclear Medicine at the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University, where he has established himself as a leading scholar and clinician in the field of nuclear medicine. He holds multiple prestigious academic positions, including Young Member of the Nuclear Medicine Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Member of the Nuclear Medicine Committee of the Sichuan Medical Association, Member of the Nuclear Medicine Branch of both the Sichuan Medical Doctor Association and the Sichuan Health and Medical Promotion Association, and Vice Chairperson of the Nuclear Medicine Committee of the Chengdu Biomedical Information Society. Dr. Lin Qiu has led or participated in more than ten scientific research projects, secured four invention patents as first inventor, and published over 30 academic papers as first or corresponding author - 27 of which are SCI-indexed with a highest impact factor of 29.146 - in top-tier journals such as Radiology, EJNMMI, CNM, JMC, and European Radiology. His academic contributions also include co-authoring three nuclear medicine monographs and three clinical guidelines. In recognition of his outstanding achievements, he has received numerous honors, including the Sichuan Province Defense Science and Technology Elite Talent Project Award, the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Achievement Transformation of the Sichuan Medical Association, the Sichuan Medical Association Young Excellent Paper Award, and the Third Prize for Sichuan Province Science and Technology Progress.
