Dr. Yan Pingyu is a doctoral researcher in Forest Tree Genetics and Breeding at the State Key Laboratory of Tree Genetics and Breeding, Northeast Forestry University, where she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Forestry through a Master–Doctorate combined program under the supervision of Prof. Zhang Hanguo. Her research centers on germplasm resource evaluation, genetic diversity analysis, and breeding population construction of Pinus koraiensis (Korean pine). She has published five peer-reviewed papers, including multiple SCI Q1 journal articles, with additional manuscripts under review, and holds authorized and pending national invention patents.
