Dr. Jingying Zhou commenced her academic journey by earning a Ph.D. in Microbiology from The University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2013. Prior to her doctoral studies, she obtained an M.Phil. in Virology and Microbiology from Wuhan University in 2008, following a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the same university in 2005.

PROFESSIONAL ENDEAVORS

After completing her Ph.D., Dr. Zhou embarked on a productive period as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS), CUHK, spanning from September 2013 to September 2018. Demonstrating her commitment to academic research, she then assumed the role of Research Assistant Professor at SBS, CUHK, where she continued to contribute significantly to the field until February 2022.
