Dr. Amir Sohail, son of Guldar Shah, is a Pakistani plant geneticist specializing in Crop Genetics and Breeding, currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher (Type A) in the Germplasm Preservation and Genetic Improvement of Tropical Rice Group at Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), China. He earned his Ph.D. in Crop Genetics and Breeding  from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, China National Rice Research Institute, following an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Plant Breeding and Genetics from The University of Agriculture, Peshawar, Pakistan. His research focuses on gene mapping, QTL analysis, molecular and mutation breeding, genome editing, and functional genomics in rice, with extensive expertise in CRISPR/Cas9, RNA-Seq, and advanced molecular assays. Dr. Sohail has conducted significant postdoctoral and doctoral research on rice flowering regulation, male sterility, heading date QTLs, and plant architecture, alongside earlier work on maize, mungbean, wheat, and chickpea improvement. He has authored 50+ peer-reviewed publications in leading international journals with a cumulative SCI impact factor of 77 and serves as a reviewer for journals including Journal of Integrative Plant Biology, Frontiers in Plant Science, and Acta Physiologiae Plantarum. His academic excellence is recognized through prestigious awards such as the Caiyun Postdoctoral Project, CNRRI Student’s S&T Innovation Award, Beijing Government Scholarship, and GSCAAS Scholarship. Dr. Nasrin Samadyar, born on 17 June 1989 in Karaj, Alborz Province, Iran, is an Iranian applied mathematician specializing in numerical analysis, stochastic differential equations, and meshfree computational methods. She earned her BSc in Applied Mathematics from Kharazmi University, followed by an MSc from Amirkabir University of Technology and a PhD in Applied Mathematics (Numerical Analysis) from Malayer University, where her doctoral research focused on meshfree radial basis function methods for solving stochastic integral equations. She later completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Mathematics at Alzahra University, concentrating on numerical solutions of stochastic differential and partial differential equations.
