Dr. Xiaohu Ren commenced his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Shenzhen University (2005-2009), followed by a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (2009-2012) from the same institution. Subsequently, he pursued a Ph.D. in Health Toxicology at Southern Medical University (2012-2015), where he laid the foundation for his research expertise in the field of toxicology.

PROFESSIONAL ENDEAVORS:

Since 2015, Dr. Ren has served as an Associate Chief Physician and Assistant Researcher at the Modern Toxicology Laboratory, Shenzhen Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Prior to this, he contributed as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Shenzhen CDC from 2015 to 2017. These roles have provided him with ample opportunities to delve into the intricacies of environmental pollutants and occupational toxicants research.
